ADULT PROGRAM
Beginners Ballet
Introduction to the vocabulary and positions of classical ballet. Students will learn barre work, center work, and combinations across the floor. Also, beginning level students with varied dance background. Students will work on strength, flexibility and coordination.
Intermediate Ballet
Intermediate ballet are for students with previous training. This class involves an intensive training in ballet and working on proper technique, along with strengthening the dancer. Students will work on strength, flexibility and coordination.
Beginners Modern/Jazz
Introduction to the basic skills and terminology of the combination of modern/jazz movement. The student will focus on control, center, breathing, balance, strength, body isolations, syncopated rhythms and musicality. The student will also learn elements of floor work, and combinations.
Intermediate Modern/Jazz
Designed for experienced dancers, refining and articulating modern/jazz dance principals. This class will focus on isolation, involves movement combinations, center exercises, elements of floor work, and combinations while emphasizing the weight of the body and its relationship to space and gravity.
Tap Dance
Introduces students to basic tap dance technique focusing on rhythm and musicality. An Intermediate/Advance classes will be offered as a workshop series.
Swing Dance
Will learn the history of swing dance, isolation movements, rhythm, style, and partnering along with swing dance movements, some moves include the "Shorty George", "Charleston", "Suzie Q" and other varies movements. Couples are encourage to enroll in this class.
Liturgical Dance
This dance is a dance form of expression and interpretive dance. Basic ballet movement the student would have already learned. Student will learn positions with hands and feet and what the spiritual interpretive means. Students will be given homework along with a practical exam.
Flags/Banners
In the beginners class the student will learn different various movements with the flags. Students will learn coordination with both hands and arm movement. They will learn the spiritual meaning behind movements, the combination of movements along with colors. Students will be given homework along with a practical exam. Intermediate/Advance classes are offered, on workshop series basis.
*Must have mastered beginners skills first.*
Streamers
Students will learn hand and arm isolations. They will learn coordination and movement. They will learn the spiritual meaning behind movement, the combination of movements along with colors.
Tambourine
Students will learn the history of the tambourine. They will learn rhythm. Syncopated beats along with dance combinations. They will learn to use the tambourine using ballet and modern/jazz movements. They will learn the spiritual meaning behind the movements along with the different tambourine combinations. Students will be given homework along with a practical exam. Intermediate/Advance classes are offered, on workshop series basis.

Theater Dance
Theater dance will consist of using props, hats, fans, and chairs or anything else that the dancer will use on stage to execute his/her performance. Styles of dance will include ballet, modern/jazz/, tap, and liturgical dance.
*Class must be taken with drama*
Acting
Students will learn Stanislovsky techniques in acting. Will learn a monologue and learn how to change actions in a script.
Musical Theater
Students will learn how to act, dance and sing on stage.
*Must be registered in Drama, and one or two dance classes.*
Voice for the Actor
Students shall experience the discipline required in keeping the voice strong and pliable as required for performance. Students shall be able to identify and correct specific breath and vocal habits which may be impeding their own growth as a performer and acknowledge the steps which must be taken to improve them. Through the use of scene work and monologues the students shall become aware of the importance that relaxation, breath, resonance,and articulation, have in bringing deeper strength and personal meaning to their performance.
Play Writing- Introductory Level
The art, profession, or work of writing plays. The student will learn developing Characters, collaboration of thoughts, free style writing, researching your characters,developing scenes, understanding background information that's needed for the audience and for the text...
Production- Inroductory Level
This class will only be conducted during rehearsals and the length and duration of a performance. This class is solely hands on experience. This is the technical aspect of theater.
Nutrition Program
There will be a nutrition program implemented for each performing arts person that is serious about their health and eating habits. This program will show you have to eat healthy and what are the right portions for you to eat. This program is geared to help the individual to receive weight loss.
Aerobics Class
This class is design for the person who wants to increase their metabolic rate (which increases your metabolism to burn calories), weight loss and cardio work out.
